LI-COR appoints new distributor in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand

January 3, 2008: LI-COR Biosciences announces the appointment of Research Instruments Pte Ltd to distribute LI-COR biotechnology products and provide all customer service and support for these products in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand effective January 1, 2008.
 
Research Instruments is a leading full service distributor of instruments, supplies, and reagents for analytical and research laboratories.  Research Instruments represents industry leading manufacturers in providing next-generation tools and techniques together with services including training, maintenance, development of analysis methods, and instrument validation.
 
Established in Singapore in 1989, the Research Instruments group employs approximately 100 people in Southeast Asia.  Catering to customers in the fields of life science research and pharmaceuticals, Research Instruments is well suited to represent LI-COR.  While strongly focused on after sales service and applications support, Research Instruments has been a pioneer in introducing new instrument techniques and research tools into the Southeast Asia region.
