AERIUS® System Combines the Infrared Advantages
of the Odyssey Infrared Imaging System with Automation for Plate-Based Assays

The Aerius Automated Imaging System provides you with extreme sensitivity and quantitative analysis of proteins with a fast and efficient microplate reader.

In addition to processing up to 30 microplates per run for large-scale analysis, the Aerius System can be used to scan single membranes, gels, or microplates for validating antibodies.

Aerius® Scanning Features

  • Two-color scanning for simultaneous detection of two protein targets or the use of one channel for normalization.

  • 20 – 500 µm resolution.

  • Scans standard microplates

  • Scans membranes or gels with the Aerius Membrane Carrier

  • Integrate scanning and automatic analysis for In-Cell Western™ assays.

  • Simple operation - scanning and In-Cell Western assay analysis are reduced to choosing an express run template.

Purchase your system with or without the stacker for automation.

Bio-Tek® Bio-Stack Automated Microplate Stacking System

  • Aerius Express run software integrates with the plate stacker to serially scan up to 30 microplates per run.
  • Express run templates allow you to save configurations for an entire stack of plates.
  • During a run, each plate is scanned, analyzed with In-Cell Western analysis software, and data output in reports or data files.
  • Automatic output to a network location in delimited text format for spreadsheets, laboratory information systems, or analysis software.

For repetitive runs, scanning is as simple as choosing an express run template that defines scanning and analysis for up to 30 microplates.

Applications for the AERIUS

Aerius automated imaging system

Aerius introduces a new level of automation for In-Cell Western assays and an expanding list of other infrared plate-based assays. Aerius provides fully automated data analysis of In-Cell Westerns for true, one-touch, walk-away automation.

Accessories

Ordering Information:

  • Membrane Carrier

    • Used for Western blotting methods and other analyses requiring scans of membranes. Carrier has the same dimensions as a microplate, but with a 3 mm ridge around the edges to prevent liquid from spilling into the Aerius Imager

  • Plate Stacker Adapter Kit

    • Used to lock the Bio-Tek® Bio-Stack™ Automated Plate Stacking System in position at the correct height and distance from the Aerius Imager (9250-01) and includes communication cables to connect the two instruments.

  • Calibration Ruler

    • Replacement part for Plate Stacker Adapter Kit (9250-14)

  • Odyssey Pens

    • Used for writing on membranes to be scanned. Does not fluoresce in the 700 or 800 channel
