Application Software Engineer
POSITION OVERVIEW: Create, design, develop and test application software for LI-COR Environmental and Biotechnology instrumentation systems in a multi-disciplined, concurrent development team setting.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an engineering discipline with a heavy emphasis on Computer Science is required.
EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated development experience with C, C++, C#, and/or Java. Demonstrated creative design abilities developing Windows and browser based applications for instrument control, data collection, data analysis and display. Mechanical Drafter I
POSITION OVERVIEW: Support Design Engineers by reviewing and updating 3D CAD models and 2D mechanical and process CAD drawings. This includes reviewing and approving mechanical and process drawings. Coordinate and generate engineering documentation for unreleased products and assist in the release process as needed. Create bills of materials (BOM), generate new part number requests, assign drawing and process numbers, and facilitate the release of 3D models and 2D drawings.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Minimum 2-year Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology, Computer Aided Design/Drafting or equivalent (ABET accredited program preferred). Sufficient experience and professional training may be considered in lieu of degree.

Experience with leaf chlorophyll fluorescence especially welcome. Post-doctoral experience or equivalent is preferred.

EDUCATION: Ph.D. or equivalent in agronomy, ecophysiology, environmental physics, plant physiology, soil science, or a related field. Expertise in mathematical modeling or analysis of biological or environmental problems related to photosynthesis, gas exchange and leaf chlorophyll fluorescence. Experience with leaf chlorophyll fluorescence especially welcome. Post-doctoral experience or equivalent is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

- POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Actively sell LI-COR Biotechnology products in territory.
