    EddyPro-sters,

The current release of EddyPro (v6.2), does not produce an output format that is in compliance with the data requirements of the AmeriFlux Network. I note a few areas where change is needed:
    1. Must have beginning AND ending timestamp in first columns.
    2. No ‘units’ row…data must use pre-defined units.
    3. Single output file (is it possible to merge ghg_eddy and ghg_biomet files)?
    4. Also, what’s the sign convention for momentum flux (tau)? Is it the same as other fluxes?

    See:
    http://ameriflux.lbl.gov/data/aboutdata/data-variables/

Are there plans to make future releases compatible with the AmeriFlux data format? Any news on when the community can expect a new version?

    Thank you kindly.
