Hi, I get this error message importing a biomet file

Importing content from biomet file: C:mypathmyfile_2010_05_04_0000_2010_12_31_2330.csv

Fortran runtime error: Bad real number in item 4 of list input

The file has the same format of other biomet files that eddypro recognized and used without any problem

    TIMESTAMP_1,TIMESTAMP_2,Ta_1_1_1,Pa_1_1_1,RH_1_1_1,Rg_1_1_1,LWin_1_1_1

The only difference is that this file has missing values (NA) in some rows.

Can eddypro import biomet files with NA ?

if not, shall I use another missing value indicator (e.g. -9999) or do I need to fill the gaps before importing the biomet file

    thank you very much

    Hi Edoardo,

yes, I am pretty sure the problem is related to the “NA” error code, which is not supported. The code -9999 should work fine (those values will be excluded from computations because outside physically plausible ranges). You may also try how “NaN” (without quotation marks) works.

    Thanks,

    Gerardo

    Hi Gerardo

    -9999 works fine!

I do not get the error message anymore and processing started

    thank you

Great! Thanks for letting us know.

Please look carefully at result files (full output and biomet) to make sure -9999 are filtered out, and do not mess up the average biomet values.

    Gerardo
