LI-COR Visits UNL’s Third Annual Weather Camp

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) hosted its third annual Weather Camp the week of June 10th, 2013. Seventeen campers—ranging from 9 to 14 years old—ventured to Lincoln, Nebraska for the weeklong camp related to all things weather and science. The camp is part of a national program that seeks to inspire students toward careers in science.

LEEF Training 2013

LEEF Training 2013

The LI-COR Environmental Education Fund (LEEF) training is a five-day course available to all LEEF Ecophysiology awardees. Led by LI-COR’s scientific staff, this hands-on course allows for collaboration with fellow LEEF recipients and covers a variety of topics, from the fundamentals of making gas exchange measurements to how to use the LI-6400XT for classroom instruction.

Every June, LI-COR hosts the LEEF LI-6400XT Training.  Eight attendees from schools across North America attended the most recent training session (below).
