Making Measurements with the LI-3000C Portable Area Meter

Large numbers of detached leaves can be efficiently measured using the LI-3000C Portable Area Meter in combination with the LI-3050C Transparent Belt Conveyer Accessory.
In the Field...
- Open the scanning head and place it over the leaf
- Hold the encoding cord stationary at the base of the leaf
- Close the scanning head
- Press the reset button to initiate the measurement
- Slide the scanning head over the leaf
- Allow the entire leaf to pass through completely
