Applications

The LI-8100A System is ideally suited for a multitude of applications. With its modular design both survey chamber, single chamber long-term and multiplexed soil CO₂ flux measurements are possible. The Clear Chamber adds the ability to measure Net Carbon Exchange, while a simple kit can be added to the LI-8100A System in combination with the LI-8150 Multiplexer to perform Atmospheric Profiling and Flask Measurements. Other applications include a Trace Gas Sampling Kit for sampling air from the chamber as well as surface monitoring for geologic carbon sequestration and flux measurements in areas with high CO₂ concentrations.
