LI-COR® Introduces IRDye® 800CW Maleimide
March 18, 2009, Lincoln, NE: LI-COR has developed a functional derivative of its IRDye 800CW near infrared dye using maleimide chemistry. The IRDye 800CW Maleimide will enhance the labeling options of LI-COR's leading near infrared IRDye 800CW which is also available as a Carboxylate and an NHS Ester. The IRDye 800CW maleimide dye may be used to label proteins, peptides, and other biomolecules containing a reactive sulfhydryl group.
