LI-COR Introduces New IRDye® 700DX Secondary Antibody Conjugates for Near-Infrared Detection

April 23, 2009, Lincoln, NE: LI-COR Biosciences announces the addition of IRDye 700DX Goat Anti-Mouse and IRDye 700DX Goat Anti-Rabbit polyclonal antibodies to its growing line of near-infrared fluorescent antibody conjugates. These reagents are specifically quality-controlled and optimized for use with LI-COR Biosciences' Odyssey® Infrared Imaging System and Aerius® Automated Infrared Imaging System. These instruments have set a new standard for assays such as quantitative Western blotting, In-Cell Western and On-Cell Western cell-based assays, and many other applications.

"These detection reagents are highly cross-adsorbed and carefully validated to ensure low cross-reactivity in multiplexed applications," says Jim Wiley, strategic marketing manager for LI-COR Biosciences. IRDye 700DX reagents can be combined with LI-COR Biosciences' IRDye 800CW products for multiplexed detection. Due to its superior photostability characteristics, IRDye 700DX is particularly well suited for microscopy applications.
