May 27, 2015, Lincoln, NE: Researchers can now purchase LI-COR antibodies, consumables, and other laboratory products through Amazon’s new Amazon Business, and through Antibodies-online.com. This expanded access makes it easier for labs to use established e-commerce channels to order LI-COR products.
Amazon Business is a new marketplace that offers access to various business categories, including science. It offers buyers business-only pricing and is compatible with the Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) service that provides delivery requirements expected by business customers.
Antibodies-online distributes 132 unique LI-COR products worldwide, including the exclusive LI-COR IRDye® reagents. IRDye reagents include near-infrared secondary antibodies and dyes for quantitative Western Blotting, small animal imaging, plate-based assays, protein and DNA gel imaging, and other proteomics applications. "With LI-COR participating in the Independent Validation Initiative, these additional commerce portals help customers find and purchase high quality reagents that generate reproducible results," says Shawn Mischnick, technical product manager for LI-COR.
