Anti-Human Antibodies Added to LI-COR's Line of Infrared Secondary Antibodies

June 15, 2011, Lincoln, NE: LI-COR introduces anti-human secondary antibodies to provide customers even more diversity within its line of IRDye® infrared secondary antibodies. These new antibodies are highly cross-adsorbed and are conjugated with either IRDye 800CW or IRDye 680LT.

"LI-COR's new anti-human secondary antibodies are ideal for multiplexing in Western blot applications, including the In-Cell Western Assay," says Shawn Mischnick, LI-COR technical product specialist. "We developed these antibodies to meet the increasing demand from our customers for high quality, anti-human secondary antibodies that can be measured in either the 700 or 800 nm channel."

IRDye infrared dye-labeled secondary antibodies are cross-adsorbed and provide high specificity for any application, such as multiplex detection. These antibody conjugates outperform visible fluorescent dye conjugates and are optimized for high sensitivity and excellent signal-to-noise performance on LI-COR imaging systems, such as the Odyssey® family of infrared imaging systems.
