Tubulin Primary Antibodies for Normalization

figure 1

Figure 1. β-Tubulin detected with β-Tubulin primary antibody (P/N 926-42211) in HeLa, NIH/3T3, and COS7 cell lysates.

α or β-Tubulin primary antibodies can be used for detection of α or β-Tubulin by Western blot or by In-Cell Western assay. These primary antibodies can be used as a normalization antibody when performing two-color detection.

Detection of α-Tubulin Mouse Monoclonal Antibody can be achieved with IRDye® Goat anti-Mouse or IRDye Donkey anti-Mouse secondary antibodies.

Detection of β-Tubulin Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody can be achieved with IRDye Goat anti-Rabbit or IRDye Donkey anti-Rabbit secondary antibodies.

Properties β-Tubulin Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (P/N 926-42211) α-Tubulin Mouse Monoclonal Antibody (P/N 926-42212)
Species Cross-Reactivity Human, mouse, rat, monkey, bovine Human, mouse, rat, monkey
Target Molecular Weight 55 kDa 52 kDa
Isotype Rabbit IgG IgG(1)
Specificity/Sensitivity Detects endogenous levels of total β-tubulin protein. Does not cross-react with recombinant α-tubulin. Detects endogenous levels of total α-tubulin protein. α/β-tubulin heterodimers form the tubulin subunit common to all eukaryotic cells.
