Training Courses

Eddy Covariance training courses are offered throughout the year at various locations around the world. The main purposes of training are:

  • To understand eddy covariance theory, experimental design and application
  • To become skilled at setting up and operating eddy covariance systems
  • To be able to process raw flux data with EddyPro and understand online flux data processing and output

Training courses are designed to be hands-on. Some of the topics covered during the courses include:

  • Setting up a flux tower and installing instruments using commonly accepted best practices
  • Live instrument configuration and calibration
  • Hands-on data processing with provided sample data sets

Additional Information

Attendees are responsible for their own travel, lodging, and other meal expenses. LI-COR has negotiated a special rate with a hotel and will make reservations for attendees. Attendees are responsible for providing their own payment information at check-in.

Training Schedule

Webinars

Webinars cover a variety of topics related to ecosystem-level gas exchange, including details on the eddy covariance method, EddyPro data analysis software, eddy covariance system configurations, and more.
