LEEF Photosynthesis Packages

Choose from four LEEF Photosynthesis Packages. Two of these packages feature the LI-6400XT Portable Photosynthesis System, the most referenced photosynthesis system in peer-reviewed literature. The other two packages feature LI-COR’s new LI-6800 Portable Photosynthesis System.
Both photosynthesis systems feature high precision H2O and CO2 analyzers mounted in the sensor head, close to the leaf. This allows for leaf-level feedback control. Changes in leaf dynamics are measured in real time. The LI-6800 brings improvements such as automated H2O control, better light source intensity and uniformity, and a user-friendly touch screen interface. Teaching with a LI-COR Photosynthesis System
LI-COR Portable Photosynthesis Systems are designed to be your main teaching aid when discussing photosynthesis or respiration. These systems help answer many of the fundamental questions related to ecology and help quantify the interactions between plants, animals, and their relationship with the environment.
LEEF Photosynthesis Packages are designed for use by undergraduate students to address ecophysiological issues. Topics for investigation could include:
