The LI-7500DS, which includes the SmartFlux® System, delivers fast, accurate, and precise gas measurements. This open path analyzer is easy to set up and use, has low power requirements, and is stable in harsh environments. It is suitable for sites with infrequent rain, fog, or snow events.
The LI-7200RS includes the SmartFlux System and features an enclosed optical path with high-precision, temperature-controlled optical filters that take accurate gas density measurements, including dry mole fraction. It is designed for the most challenging environments with frequent rain, fog, or snow events and low CO2 flux rates.
The LI-7700, intended for field deployment in eddy covariance systems, has an open-path design that reduces power consumption and eliminates problems associated with pumps and tubing. Laser-based measurement technology and temperature controls provide precision and long-term stability.
SmartFlux is the on-site processing and GPS synchronization component of LI-COR eddy covariance systems. It runs EddyPro® Software on a powerful microcomputer, providing fully processed flux results in real time. The SmartFlux System is included with the LI-7500DS or LI-7200RS gas analyzers.
LI-COR eddy covariance systems support a variety of biological and meteorological sensors, including radiometers and soil sensors. The Data Acquisition Module collects biomet data, and the Data Retention Module protects it if power is lost. Sensor packages and other components are available.
