The LI-560 TriSonica® Sphere Ultrasonic Anemometer offers accurate vertical measurements at fast sampling rates, making it ideal for mobile and stationary atmospheric research.

Its patented spherical design dramatically reduces structural shadowing while it increases the accuracy of vertical wind measurements. Its all-aluminum construction enhances durability while maintaining its size, weight, and power (SWaP) advantage. This makes the LI-560 ideal for drone deployment.

The design and open path geometry of the LI-560 enable it to accurately capture measurements of all three dimensions (U, V, W) of air flow with the least possible distortion of the wind field, especially vertical turbulence.

Accessories

The USB adapter for configuring the anemometer and viewing data is available (it is not for outdoor use). We also offer cables for power and data transfer to the LI-570 Data Logger and customer-supplied equipment, as well as mounting adapters for tripods and custom platforms.
