Configuring a Custom Program for EddyPro
Data recorded in custom programs can be processed in EddyPro 4 and above if the datalogger is configured properly. The following sections provide information about configuring the datalogger.
ComsTag Unit ID
As described in Custom Configurations (Custom Configurations), if you want to log data to an LI-7550 in compressed .ghg files, for subsequent processing in EddyPro, the ComsTag block for each variable must be named according to the convention described here.

As described in Custom Configurations (see Custom Configurations), if you want to log data to an LI-7550 in compressed .ghg files, for subsequent processing in EddyPro, the ComsTag block for each variable must include the data identifier from this list.

VariableID
Although EddyPro can "blindly" summarize any variable, including variables that are not listed in the previous sections, it is unable to use the variable in flux computations (e.g., air temperature) unless the variable is identified properly in the header. The convention described below will ensure that EddyPro can interpret the variable.
