Biomet Sensors

Integrated biological and meteorological data for Smartflux Core

Data Acquisition Module

Designed and manufactured by LI-COR, the Data Acquisition Module collects biomet data and provides the data to the SmartFlux system. These data are time-synchronized with the eddy covariance data sets by EddyPro and can be used in flux calculations and post-processing.

Data Retention Module

Data Retention Module

Designed to mitigate data loss during a power outage, the Data Retention Module provides data logging and smart system controls that prioritize the sonic anemometer, SmartFlux System, Data Acquisition Module, and biomet sensors if the power supply is compromised.

Quantum sensors and radiometers

LI-190R Quantum Sensor

Measure photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) with uniform intensity across the entire PAR waveband.

LI-200R Pyranometer

Measure global solar radiation.

Kipp & Zonen NRLite2 Net Radiometer

Measure net radiation - the difference of incoming and outgoing radiation.

Kipp & Zonen CNR4 Net Radiometer

Measure the incoming and outgoing long-wave and short-wave radiation.

Soil measurement

Stevens Hydra Probe II Soil Probe

All-in-one, in-situ measurements of soil moisture, electrical conductivity, and temperature with a single probe.

HukseFlux HFP01 Soil Heat Flux Plates

The world's most popular soil heat flux sensor, contained in a ceramics-plastic composite body to minimize thermal resistance.

HukseFlux HFP01SC Self-Calibrating Soil Heat Flux Plates

High-accuracy soil heat flux measurements using the on-line Van den Bos-Hoeksma calibration method that automatically corrects for common errors.

Temperature and rain measurement

Vaisala HMP155 Humidity and Temperature Probe with RM Young Radiation Shield

Humidity and temperature measurements with easy maintenance, long-term stability, and durability from the RM Young Radiation Shield.

Texas Electronics TR-525M Tipping Bucket Rain Gauge

Remote tipping bucket style rain gauge that measures liquid precipitation, featuring the mechanical tipping bucket device which incrementally measures rainfall accumulation.

Weather Stations

Weather Stations

Extend your traditional eddy covariance and biomet systems with standalone HOBO® weather stations. These rugged and affordable stations track and capture microclimate conditions across your site, which you can view, map and share in LI-COR Cloud for a more accurate and complete picture.
