Your evapotranspiration measurement data delivered directly to you with LI-COR Cloud and the IoE Module.

LI-COR Cloud is cloud-based software for an Internet of the Environment (IoE) enabled LI-710 Evapotranspiration Sensor—called the Water Node—that provides you with entirely remote access to its data. The IoE Module is on-site hardware that transfers LI-710 data to LI-COR Cloud then ultimately to you for a start-to-finish data management solution.

The LI-710 measures actual evapotranspiration—water vapor moving out of the field and into the atmosphere—without the need for crop coefficients. It works over any relatively flat and uniform ground cover at field or ecosystem scale.

What is IoE?

Internet of the Environment (IoE) is an all-inclusive term that refers to the entire evapotranspiration measurement system. This includes the hardware (e.g., LI-710 and IoE Module) and the software (e.g., LI-COR Cloud).

When an instrument like the LI-710 is IoE enabled, it means it has been connected to LI-COR Cloud via the on-site IoE Module, and you can now access its data from anywhere.

An all-in-one solution for on-demand data

Manage your entire evapotranspiration measurement system from a single, centralized source. With LI-COR Cloud and the IoE Module, you have all the software and hardware necessary for immediate measurement data collection, transmission, and access.

Together, they streamline your measurement process by eliminating the need for third-party software or at-home builds—allowing you to concentrate on water management research rather than data management.

A streamlined process for the entire team

Because water management research can be conducted over multiple teams or locations, it is essential that your data management solution can overcome common geographical and time constraints.

With LI-COR Cloud and the IoE Module, every researcher can remotely access the Water Node’s data from any location and at any time. Because you no longer need to be on site for frequent data collection either, you can now redirect that valuable travel time toward analyzing and planning your next steps.
