August 10, 2011, Lincoln, NE: Organ Tray Base with corresponding Organ Imaging Trays are the newest additions to the line of accessories for use with LI-COR's Pearl Impulse Small Animal Imager. These accessories improve organ imaging by allowing organs to be imaged on an unheated disposable tray.
The disposable Organ Imaging Trays ensure that the imaging bed surface will not be contaminated, while providing increased convenience when imaging organs from multiple mice.
"The Organ Tray Base allows researchers to conveniently image organs on an unheated surface to prevent organs from being compromised due to heated imaging beds," says Jeff Harford, LI-COR senior marketing product manager. "This also allows for flexibility when moving organs to and from a surgical suite."
The Organ Imaging Trays are available in pack sizes of 5 or 25. LI-COR's Pearl Impulse Small Animal Imager and its accessories offer complete solutions for in vivo and ex vivo imaging.
