Whole Slide Triage Imaging (WSTI) Webinar

You spend a lot of time acquiring and processing high-resolution tissue section slide images. Reclaim some of that time so you can focus on the relevant ones.

This webinar introduces Whole Slide Triage Imaging (WSTI), an innovative application for the Odyssey® M Imaging System. In WSTI, researchers quickly scan all tissue section slides at 5 μm resolution, then identify slides requiring higher resolution imaging. WSTI is a promising solution to the challenges involved in scanning many tissue section slides at microscopic resolutions.

Dr. Kimberley Samkoe from Dartmouth College highlights how she integrates WSTI into her molecular imaging applications for cancer research, including paired agent imaging and fluorescence guided surgery. She compares the scanning speed and image alignment accuracy of the Odyssey M® Imager to earlier methods that require the non-linear transformation of images acquired by separate instruments.

The presenters:

Dr. Kimberley Samkoe is the Principal Investigatorat the Samkoe Lab in the Center for Imaging Medicine in the Thayer School for Engineering at Dartmouth College.

Jeff Harford is the Senior Marketing Product Manager, Biotechnology at LI-COR Biosciences.
