The versatility of the Odyssey M makes it an optimal choice for any lab.
Because the Odyssey M performs the role of multiple imagers, you always get the most out of your lab resources. Not only can it free up funds, but it will also save you bench space, simplify your work area, and maximize your team’s imaging options. Plus, there are no expensive or delicate optical modules to purchase and assemble for different acquisitions.
|Western blot and gel imaging system||Multiplex fluorescence, chemiluminescence, and colorimetric||25 x 18 cm 15 × 11 cm (Chemi)|
|Multimode plate reader||Absorbance, fluorescence, and luminescence||Up to 4 microplates at once|
|Whole slide imager||Bright-field and fluorescence||Up to 12 slides at once|
From acquisition through analysis, quickly get the results you need to answer research questions–or to ask new ones.
The Odyssey M provides a large scan area and a dynamic range of more than 6 logs. Where possible, all data is captured in one acquisition–without rescanning. New Odyssey M applications, such as whole slide triage imaging, enable you to complete your work in a fraction of the time.
The Odyssey M uses innovative software to multiply your efforts and make the most out of your time in the lab. User-definable scan areas in LI-COR Acquisition Software ensure you only scan the regions you’re interested in, and Empiria Studio® Software streamlines your statistical analysis to yield in-depth results in minutes–not hours.
The Odyssey M Imaging System pairs your Odyssey M Imager with LI-COR Acquisition Software and Empiria Studio Software to maximize data quality, consistency, and replicability using best practices provided by industry experts.
To minimize variability, all images are captured using the same optical settings. Users don’t need to alter exposure time or laser intensity to obtain non-saturated images, and image adjustments never change the raw data.
Intuitive tools in LI-COR Acquisition Software and Empiria Studio Software along with features, such as Adaptive Lane Finding and Adaptive Background Subtraction, further eliminate sources of variability.
LI-COR Acquisition Software allows you to acquire, organize, and adjust images. A workflow-based system ensures no steps get missed, and you can acquire images using identical settings based on assay type. You can then export images for analysis in Empiria Studio or publication.
Empiria Studio enables you to perform in-depth analysis of images from a variety of assays. The intuitive tools in Empiria Studio minimize user-to-user variability, compute statistical values, and provide extensive analysis options for images acquired on your Odyssey M Imager.
Odyssey imagers, known for consistent, high-quality imaging, have delivered for biological scientists around the world in over 20,000 peer-reviewed publications. See how you and your lab can explore new research opportunities while saving time and money with one imager that fills the role of many.
